White Sangria Recipe with Peaches & Strawberries

I’m pretty pleased to bring you the first of two sangria recipes that I’ve planned for you this summer. Today I have a white sangria recipe featuring strawberries and peaches. Next month’s post will be a red sangria that’ll feature cherries (oh yum!). Let’s jump into this white sangria recipe, shall we?

White Sangria with Peaches and Strawberries

Sangria isn’t something I drink often, but I do enjoy it every now and then. I originally created this recipe back in 2013 for my very own Taste of Spain brand party for Dole. The party was pretty fun, and the two sangria recipes I created were some of the biggest stars of that party. Somehow, though, it’s taken me two years to get them to you. Probably has something to do with us finishing our book last summer (*wink*).

Anyway! Something to keep in mind about this particular sangria recipe is that it’s quite potent. The base is two bottles of white wine, and that’s really just the beginning. I’ve also included triple sec and white rum along with some lime juice and grapefruit soda. There’s a tangy element to this, and it’s definitely a potent recipe with the liquor addition. A little of this recipe goes a long way!

White Sangria with Peaches and Strawberries

I made this last Saturday afternoon and had a couple of friends over to help me and Jeremy drink it all. There was no way we could finish this sangria alone! After two glasses each, we were all feeling the good, warming effects of this tasty yet potent drink. Everyone had a great time with it, and it was such a fun evening. Sangria is the perfect party drink. I’ll have to keep that in mind moving forward. It’s never been a “go to” for me, but it certainly is an easy crowd pleaser.

Ha, oh and speaking of Saturday… Funny story: I didn’t have a pitcher large enough to fit the all the sangria (the one used here held most of it but not all of it) so I mixed the entire thing in a pot and refrigerated it that way. I was using a ladle to portion it out of that pot as well when I was serving it. So, when Jeremy opened the fridge and saw all that, he was like “This looks like some kind of alcoholic fruit soup!” We all laughed hysterically at the thought of that. He’s really a funny guy.

Anyway! I hope you’ll make this sangria recipe for one of your summer parties. Peaches are just coming into season and it really couldn’t be a better time of year for strawberries, either. As I said earlier, this sangria packs a powerful punch so tread lightly with it. It can sneak up on you if you’re not careful!

With that, let’s get to the recipe!

Yield: 3.5 quarts

  • Now THAT is a Sangria. Oh my goodness you know your way around a bar.
Not sure that came out quite like I meant it. But oh well—laughing. I LOVE it.
Refreshing, a little different from other Sangrias—my knowledge is pretty plain Jane—–and definitely summery and beautiful.

    • Glad you like it, Carol! 🙂 I like spicing things up with booze. Cheers!
